Recommendations from Council when it was brought before them on July 7th:
- Include a policy around using protected or buffered bike lanes by default on fast streets - in 35 mph zones and higher.
- Extend the feasibility study for the Permanente Creek Trail Extension to look at going all the way to Castro School. Currently the study would stop at Central Expressway.
- Add maps to the Plan that show bike routes of our neighboring cities of Palo Alto, Los Altos and Sunnyvale.
